January 31, 2011

As promised, I’m opening a new contest this week. And this one’s for readers only, because if you haven’t read the books, you won’t know the answer. 😀

But some other business first! I received the SOPHIA cover concept this week, and Sophia is beeyutiful! There are still a few tweaks to be done here and there, but I should have the final cover very soon.

I’ll also be teasing the first chapter of SOPHIA soon … maybe for Valentine’s Day! Yeah, that sounds good.

And I’ve been looking at wedding gowns all over the Internet, searching for the perfect dress for Sarah. We’re going to see her wedding at some point, though I’m not sure if it will be in a book or a Vignette. It all depends on how DUNCAN winds to a close, which I haven’t decided yet. I mean I know how the story ends, but not how the book ends. That makes sense, right?

Okay, and now to the contest … answer the following question and e-mail your response to me at dbreynoldswriter@live.com with CONTEST in the subject line.

Everyone who gets it right will go into a drawing. I’ll accept submissions until midnight on February 19, and I’ll announce the winner on February 21st.

NOTE that I’ve changed my e-mail address from aol.com to live.com, which is Hotmail. But don’t worry, I’m still picking up mail from aol so nothing will get lost.

Here’s the question … Duncan has a last name. What is it?

But wait! What’s the prize? The winner of the drawing–and you have to guess the answer correctly to go INTO the drawing–will receive an autographed copy of any one title, up to and including SOPHIA (although for SOPHIA you’ll have to wait until its release in April) AND a $10 Amazon gift certificate.

Don’t forget … e-mail your response to me at dbreynoldswriter@live.com and be sure to put CONTEST on the subject line. I’ll accept responses until midnight February 19th.

Oh, also, I updated my What I’m Reading Now page, and Kindle continues to wreak havoc with my book budget. Geez.

Okay, good luck with the contest, and I’ll see you next week!
